Hey there! I'm Nishkid64, an Indian-American user on Meta-Wiki and the English Wikipedia. I was originally born in Hyderabad, India, but moved to the United States when I was 3 months of age, and I have lived here ever since. I am currently a member of the Class of 2011 at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

I first encountered Wikipedia on the web when I was doing some research for a history project. I felt that it was a highly reputable source since the encyclopedia took many different points of view into consideration. I have stayed with Wikipedia since, and I made my first contributions earlier in 2006.

I really like Wikipedia because it's a place where I can make contributions to society and meet new people.

Since then, I've expanded my horizons by editing on a number of Wikimedia projects, such as Meta-Wiki, Simple English Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, etc.
